Seeing in the dark: I forgot to ask, but yes, you probably should have lit some sort of light source while travelling.
Basically, you have bright light around the central area (portal and bridge) then dim light in a circle around it, leaving a dark outer ring for those with normal vision.
For those with low-light vision, the inner ring goes out to include the dim part of those of normal vision, while the outer ring is dimly lit. The drow seem not to have relied on just darkness to hide them because even Quill does not see them with his low-light vision.
If you douse the flames, you'll end up in a pitch-dark cavern.
Rosy can sneak around the corner of the room, not in the middle of it. The problem he'll face is that the bridge going over the crevasse is in the middle of the room, no on the sides. There's enough rock cropping around too - the problem will be getting from one outcropping to the next without being spotted in between.

If it helps to say it, I have Darkvision, so I can see in the dark out to 60 feet.

Nope - drow have darkvision too, they know full well that if you want to hide, you'd better not rely on darkness alone.

Anybody got Spider Climb as a spell? If Rosy can get something like that he can stick to the outside or even go up the wall a ways and try to find the drow and use the mental spell to report what he finds.
That also could be used to get us all in there without worrying about the bridge.
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"
Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

Spider Climb is in Quill's spellbook. But no, he did not prep it for the day.Actually it's not. Thought it was.  There is one thing I'd like to fix though, Mysteria. True seeing requires expensive components; I'd like to go ahead and spend some gold on a couple doses, if it's ok.Outloud, Quill says: "I won't be walking across that land bridge, I'll be flying. In a globe of invisibility.
The flying and the invisibility can be extended to include others, if it is so desired...

So, your plan's invisibility plus fly then get in? Any other pre-combat casting? (telepathic bond and mage armour have been mentioned)
And you might as well start giving me some initiatives, plus perception checks to be used once you're closer and actually might have a chance to see the drow.

When I find the proper cost for See Invisibility components (which actually was in my known list) I would like to use it. I'll use an Invisibility Sphere, unless Quill will use one thats more awesome than any of mine... lol
