Saw the Avengers on the first day it was out ... a couple fo days before than the US (I'm the only one that thinks it's wierd for it to show on L. America before than the US?).
Anyway, great movie. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing world shattering, but highly entretaining (which is the reason I go to the movies anyway).

I commented on the odd release schedule to one of my friends when we went to see it. Apparently we got some extra scenes in the US in return for being late to the party. (Or possibly only the last one at the very tail end of the credits. Which while not incredibly relevant was quite amusing in context.) I actually suspect part of it might have been to build up marketing buzz since it was getting such good reviews.

Hi GGL. Summer slowdown seems to be hitting here a little early as well. Supposed to get to 28C (82F), woohoo! Too bad I'm stuck at work. Long weekend coming up though. Hey, there is a new button on the post window tool bar. I wonder what it does? I"m afraid to touch it... "Add Spoiler Alert" Spoiler:
Show
Testing Things Out Well, that was rather anti-climactic. We went and watched the Avengers last night. I'll throw my hat into the its pretty cool category. Nothing earth shattering but pretty entertaining none-the-less. Great graphics. Remind me never to make the Hulk angry.

82F, that's sweater weather Gotta love 93F on a "mostly cloudy" day and 84F at night that "feels like 94" :P Our summer is winding down and we're coming into the rainy season. Which means - still really hot, but it rains.

KayneRahl's Eberron gathering interest stuff got me thinking. I've been watching Eberron games come and go here and on other sites basically since the books came out, but I've only seen one pirate themed game based in the Lhazaar Principalities (a game run by MarkB, years and years ago). That seems like a real shame to me. Where's the Eberron pirate love?

I think you're just dissappointed you never got to play much with Cinevus when we were all going to play space pirates in soudou's Charbydis campaign, Belabras.

Talk to seTiny. He keeps saying he is going to run a pirate game.
