To that, I can only say: What took you so long?  Welcome, I hope you like it here.

Well, other games were more important.

yeah, howdy whitebaron...  you show up just as we're going through a major change, so hopefully the confusion that the rest of us are feeling isn't throwing you off too much...

actually, i'm in with you with the confusion... especially since my subscribed threads and groups always tell me "no new posts". i still believe that group thingy to be bad for the community... it splinters even more through that.

What do you get if you put the Red Baron in a Titanium Oxide Plane... The WHITE BARON...

If you get that joke you are a flaming nerd.

:D Hello White Baron, Lonewolfs a good Dm so you have my respect for being in his group so long.

obviously, i'm not nerd enough. but maybe it's just the translation, (i hope :D)

as for staying in his group... HE HAS NO CHOICE - i'm always his best bet of getting to play himself.

jests aside - there's 3 of us who play in this group since lw took up his dm starting shoes - which is a pretty nice thing, as we know what to expect and have a good understanding of each other.

It has to do with wanting Next to determine who won the Edition War.

For those of us who just want D&D Next to be a good game, this is getting to be a real drag.

I think I figured it out.  This program is a character builder, not a character builder.  It teaches patience, empathy, and tolerance.  All most excellent character traits.

Explination for the none nerdy.

Red Baron was a famous Military figure who flew planes in world war 1, he was undefeated in dog fighting and was the leading ace pilot for germany.

Titanium Oxide is an element commonly used to turn things white, although it is mined out in a black sludge when an electromagnetic field is applied and pure titanium oxide is pulled out it is a brilliant white colour.

:D.... Me = NERD

New group forum! Weee!

Okay, not that exciting but I've been dealing with all the crap that's still surrounding me since I haven't bothered to unpack most of it yet (yes, it's been a year). Anything that does not involve the consolidating of minor things is amusing. Laughing

Hi, I'm Myst to those of you who don't know. I'm an unemployed academic, amateur writer, dog nut, literature geek, game geek in all fashions who spends far more time on DnD than my grades can withstand. My familiar is an 11 year old cavalier king charles spaniel named "Monty." He's my sweetie. Wink

Are you walking in slow-motion so you still look awesome?

Hey Myst_t_M... :D Long time no chat. Welcome back.

If I lived beside you I'd come help you FINALLY finish unpacking :D *pats head* but I am hundreds of miles away :D so can't.

Welcome Sentinel!

We're still in the process of setting everything back up, there may be some openings real soon as unfortunately Real Life has pulled one of our veterans out of the forum life.

Best bet is to keep an eye out for any openings in the bulletin board and after a while you should see games start to pop up in the setup zone

Hey there!

I just noticed that you finally chose to try this one as well. Laughing

I hope that your first game will be set in Eberron and you´ll reserve a place for me. (If not you´re gonna have to face the consequences on Thursday Innocent)

well, if you're fast enough, you should definitely be able to play.

as for eberron: of course, where else?
or, to be more precise: "Everything starts and ends in Sharn". I still like this motto, and it will be a big part of the campaign, even though they city of knives might be only visited occasionally come paragon.
