As his summoned bear fades away, Remiel gives the beast a nod of gratitude. Without his assistance, the battle could have been a lot worse. The Spirit Shaman keeps his weapons out, just in case something else comes bursting out from the shade. When he hears Trevost's question, Remiel never stops scanning the room, but he nonetheless addresses it.
"Unfortunately, my understanding with such matters is limited. I know more about Spirits and Animals instead of the classic undead. I wish I could be of more assistance. Koi, Li, do you have any knowledge in these matters?"

Li has no applicable knowledge skills ... unless these guys are residents in the City State  However ...Li responds to Remiel, "Undead are abominations in the eyes of my Lady. Their very existence is a violation of the Paths. Life and death are a natural progression, a path that we all must take sometime, yet undead violate that order."

Koi explains a little of what he knows, which is very little. He had done some research about them after the battle at the funeral parlor, but there had not been much time for study. "The Undead are created by divine magic, twisted by wrong men. Skeletons and zombies are near-mindless, though some like wights are more powerful. These were not the same, though I suspect they were created by magic, possibly arcane. But let us not be distracted by strangeness. We need to heal these wounds and continue, or I fear we may find more of the villagers made into these... things."
He uses Li's wand...

Passages lead both left and right from here. Both are worked natural passages that curve away before allowing any appreciable sightlines.

Li examines the floor of the passages, trying to determine anything that she can regarding how much they have been in use, and if possible, by what? [Survival: 1d20+3=20]
(Looking for which passage is used, or used more, and by what, e.g. humanoids, animals, other ...)

Both passages show definite signs of use: nearly dust free, the occasional smear of mud/blood, an odd bootprint. If anything, the right hand passage seems that it may be somewhat more used.

After checking out the entrance to both passages, Li indicates the right hand passage. With a brief glance at the still forms on the ground, Li steps over to the right hand passage and listening carefully to what might lie ahead, she prepares to lead. [(Checking the bodies for equipment and assessing it as she walks over them)]

The scout finds it difficult to take his gaze away from the monstrositites. At the same time a doubt passes through him about his contribution during the last fight. Li's searching pulls him back to the present. While she searches for useful equipment the scout stands guard intently looking down the two passages.
You know you qualify as artillery when it's more effective to use divination magic to locate your targets than a Spot check.
