Remiel sees nor hears anything out of place in the dusty chamber.
With the utmost care, Remiel quietly relates his observations to the group.

Li notes the lack of a body in the sarcophagus and indicates as much to Koi. She then signals to the others to wait while she carefully stashes the heavy saddlebags in the sarcophagus, taking care to disturb as little as possible, such that the saddlebags are not visible without actually peering into the sarcophagus itself. [Kujo - Let me know if you want any rolls for that]Li then carefully backtracks out of the room and closes the door. She then approaches the alcove door on the other side of the corridor and checks it, listening carefully. [Search: 1d20+1=11] [Listen: 1d20+5=12]

Koi was a little surprised that he understood Li's gestures. "It's empty," she motioned to him, then "Wait, while I hide the saddlebags." Well, at least he understood the signal to wait, and then the rest became obvious.
He remained at the ready when she went to check the other door.

This room is almost a mirror image of the one on the other side of the hallway. In fact... The air here is thick, causing the torch to gutter. Cobwebs dominate every corner of the 25' square chamber, but the doorway remains clear. Man-sized footprints can also be easily seen in the dust on the floor. Discolored spots on the floor reveal where chests or barrels once stood. A stone sarcophagus lies on a raised dais in the center of the room. The lid shows signs of being recently moved (think weeks, not hours) [and lies shattered into rubble on the floor.]

Li quickly checks the sarcophagus in the other room to ensure it too is empty, before closing the door and moving to the tapestry at the end of the corridor. Listening carefully, she gives the tapestry a cursory glance before lifting it to examine what can be found behind it. [Listen: 1d20+5=23] [Search: 1d20+1=4]

When Li moved to the filthy hide curtain that he just knew was the way inside, Koi took another calming breath.
Even the tiger lies in wait, he reminded himself.

Li is able to hear some slight motion coming from behind the heavy curtain. Probably from guards standing watch on the other side.
Let's go ahead and get some Inits...

Trevost who has been standing guard meanwhile would react at the same time as Li if he noticed the movement.... initiave=12
You know you qualify as artillery when it's more effective to use divination magic to locate your targets than a Spot check.
