The campaign I'm currently writing is a bit of a mix between Raymond E Feist's Deity chosen George R.R Martin's state anarchy and R.A Salvatore's race wars
Do to an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" my wife's friend/neighbor wanted to play D&D. This rekindled my desire to pursue to play/DM, although I no longer had my 3.5 books and could not find the game box I had perches ed a few years ago. I went and picked up the 4th edition red box. After playing through it myself and then playing the role of "DM" for my wife and neighbor I was a little unclear on the role as DM. After playing through it myself and then playing the role of "DM" for my wife and neighbor I was a little unclear on the role as DM. I came across your pod cast for Robot Chicken and I must say not only did I learn a great deal about the game mechanics but really enjoyed the adventure. In fact I'm writing this to say that although I'm a bit off the power curve I would love to send my adventures after the Shields of the 3 Dwarven warlords. To the point that I was thinking that the Iron Dwarf could have been an artificer and while creating some kind of Golem was transformed into the embodiment of his creation. Or perhaps a Giant Golem is the keeper of the Shield. In fact if you have not yet written this adventure perhaps I will continue with my own.
Hey Chris, It would be nice if you would put everyone out of their misery by stating whether or not you have any plans to make this happen, or whether it should be put to bed? One has to wonder how many people check back on this from time to time looking for an update!

Chris I am very dissapointed Jeremy Irons did not make your list ;), watched a documentary with his voice over last night, the man is insane. I agree with every else said though :P
I love using different voices for my NPC's, sometimes it can completely change an adventure depending on how the pc's react to the voice. In our first 4e adventure I ran the pc's through KotS and it was the prisoner, Slpurg they really warmed to, he was just going to be a simple background embellishment, but the half yodahalf smeagol voice "oh masterssss, yes, yes!! Splurg will show you, hmmm?!!" endeared him to the pc's, they ended up taking him with them for the rest of the adventure. He even...

He even fought with them and opened a few locked doors for them (had to quickly make up some stats for him) and really gained their trust. Made it all the sweeter when I decided Splurg was a turn coat and delivered the pc's to Kalarel but it was the voice that did the damage. At the final battle I lowered Splurg's voice and corrected his inflection and said something like "Kalarel, I have brought them to you....master" - the look on their faces were priceless: "WHATTTTT????!!!!"
All that memorable spontaneity, just because I used a different voice.
