About Me:
I'm a Portland Oregon area gamer going to college for Game Art & Design. I have been playing Magic for about 8 years, have played and ran a number of D20 based campaigns, and am a big fan of video games.
Movies:
I like Serenity, Starship Troopers, Terminator 2, The Lord of the Rings...pretty much all the nerdy stuff, Edward Scissorhands, Princess Bride, Back to the Future...Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorites!
TV Shows:
98% of TV is crap. I haven't had cable TV in a long time. But I still catch the Daily Show and Colbert Report, Heroes, Legend of the Seeker, and have Firefly. Oh, I like the Discovery channel with Mythbusters and all kind of fun and educational awesomeness.
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels:
Don't read many books. Used to read a lot of Magic novels but they are now too expensive. Read the Hitchhiker's Guide recently, and I know its blasphemy to criticize it, and though I thoroughly enjoyed the first, each book is worse to the point that I didn't enjoy the last one (debate time). I read some Marvel comics including the Ultimates, Astonishing X-Men, Deadpool, X-Force, and my one DC book: Batman Detective Stories.
Music:
My favorite music is Hard Rock, the more intense the better, but tend to dislike a metal song if it is almost all screamo or deathmetal cookie monster voice. Used to love techno but now every techno song sounds like one I've heard before. I like classical and orchestral music from Mozart' Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K525 to Nobuo Uematsu's Advent: One Winged Angel. I also like some calmer music that helps me relax like Death Cab for Cutie's I Will Follow You Into the Dark and Camille's Pale Septembre (check her stuff out! It's all french and experimental and awesome!). Most importantly though, some of my favorite bands lately have been Coheed and Cambria, Panic at the Disco, Dethklok, Nightwish, System of a Down/Serge Tankian, Tool/A Perfect Circle, 30 Seconds to Mars and Rise Against.

Used to play EVE Online, may play again. I kind of hate WOW, mostly because I anticipate becoming horribly addicted to it.
