Just for curiosity, the list one Yoshihiko Ikawa's decklist seems to have Lightning Angel in it. I assume that is an error?

Judging from the fact that the list you're looking at fzian is a Jund list I bet the card in question was meant to be Lightning Bolt.

Are you guys going to post the standard decks that went 7-3 or better? That would be cool.

I was pretty disappointed in the Top 8 lists posted. We have 1xNaya, 1xJunk, 3xJund making 5 mid-range decks, one White Weenie, one RDW and one Open the Vault Combo deck.

I was really hoping to see WWK spawning new archetypes and control make a comeback, but it looks like midrange "put one fatty after another" decks are still the way to go.

The deck Chapin, Nassif and co were running is a pure control deck inspired by WWK and did extremely well, chapin was 8-1-1 in standard and nassif etc did very well as well.  Looking at the top 8 for the good Standard decks is kind of useless since it has 6 rounds of draft mixed in.

Better off waiting 'till they post the standard decks that went 8-2 and better.

Nassif and Chapin were both 1 match away from T8 w/ their Jace control deck. The only reason they didn't make it was that there was a draft portion.

That's good to know, then. Really looking toward the Standard results.

I do hope the top standard decks get posted. I know that the draft portion helps determine who’s better overall, however I do miss just having it all be standard.

Sounds like Nassif wasn't just one match away from top 8 but even one Craig Jones moment.

He was matched up with Kanis's mono-red deck in a win and in round 16, and lost 2-1.  From the twitter coverage: "Nassif at 3, casts Baneslayer Angel.  Top of Kanis' deck -- Lightning Bolt!" and "The topdeck lightning bolt ends Nassif's dream of a rematch with LSV"
