Star-jammer: Flying Sailing Ship

A few of you might have heard of Spelljammer and flying ships that travel between worlds. My current group requested a change from Dark Sun, so now they have access to a flying ship, here are the details. I have borrowed heavily from 'The Hitch Hikers guide to the galaxy', 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'The Planes Above' book.

Dark Sun: Summon Balor Illusion

This DM deception was designed to be run as part of a combat encounter, from the adventure ‘Marauders of the Dune Sea’. When the party finally enter the temple called the ‘Face in the Stone’, they will be attacked by a tribe of Hejkin’s. The Hejkin chanter in the tribe will cast a spell, creating the illusion that he is summoning a Demon called the ‘Balor’. Read the following to the players when they enter the face in the stone temple.

Giant Sand Worm Chase
Read the following paragraph slowly and ask the players what they want to do after each sentence.
A cloud of dust forms behind a set of large sand dunes in the northern distance as you travel the hot desert. The sounds of yelling and shouting can be heard on the wind. This skill challenge is designed to be used with the Dark Sun Setting for the Dungeons and Dragons game (4e). I created this skill challenge for the adventure “The Vault of Darom Madar”, where the PC’s need to get an audience with the leader of the Silver Spring Oasis elves.
Negotiation with Guards Skill Challenge (XP 100)
Set-up: For the NPC guards to allow the PC’s to see Toramund, use this skill challenge.
Complexity: 1 (requires 4 successes before 2 failures).
Primary skills: Bluff, Diplomacy.

This encounter is meant to be purely role-play, with the goal of gifting each player character a magic item. If the Players select common character themes or goals, then they will receive a level one magic item each, as a reward. Dark Sun Valerie Nirth
I spent a little time creating a character for my players to encounter battling an ID Fiend. Things aren't going that well for Nubia the companion to Valerie Nirth. Valerie is single handly trying to defeat the creature. She is based off the Red Sonja character, with a few alterations.
Valerie Nirth lived with her family in the Beast-barrens a member of the barbarian tribe Hyran. When she had just turned 17 years old, a group of desert raiders killed her family. Dark Sun Cliff Gliders
One of my players in the current Dark Sun game I'm running has requested a flying machine. So I have put some material together so he can make a glider and fly it.
The Jagged Cliffs and any location with high mountains can be used to fly cliff gliders. To make a cliff glider the following of materials are required: long thin lengths of wood or bone, silk cloth, hemp or silk rope, animal hide.
Constructing a flying cliff glider is not simple and each attempt at the challenge takes a full day. The same skill or ability check cannot be made more than twice.
Level: 3 (XP 750)
Complexity: 1 (requires 4 successes before 3 failures).
Special: If the character uses bone and silk to construct the glider they get a +2 bonus to all skill checks in the challenge...
