I've got to say that is the BEST cliffhanger to end a game session with that I've ever heard of. Congrats on an awesome game Chris!

The last time I played D&D 4E we spent more than 6 hours to resolve two fights. Talk about combat getting in the way of the story!
I hope D&D Next has shorter (but still as exciting) battles. Combat is a huge part of my games, I just don't want them to be all there is in a session.
