Really not sure we want to open the cages... what are the chances they are friendly?

I can shed the mark on my turn with Steel Wind move (*love* that at-will), does that help?

I sure wish you'd use small words and simple answers VR, you lose me with things like
What's more problematic with Chaos-Touched PCs are the Double Takes and Marking By Scents usage."

I think that means that Chaos-touched PCs are subject to a marking effect from Mimi... but what does "double takes" mean.

@Astromath: If Fiddenmar doesn't say something or doesn't establish a line of sight thru those bar during a minor action timed duration to trigger another Passive Skill check and some other PC get not stolen letting that that predator loose, I will have to make Fiddenmar a goat.
You must understand Fiddenmar isn't suppose to bring all muscles with those free bonuses of the Wisdom-based knowledge and skills that Rangers automatically recieves.




I'm confused.  I don't know what you are talking about.  Something about skill checks and bars.  Fiddenmar will completely ignore what's going on beyond the bars unless it is something that is obviously hostile and can attack him.  Otherwise, what's beyond the bars has no bearing on the present combat with the obvious enemies.

You have the ability to act freely on the above choice regardless of the consequences.

Uhhh, Astromath, Fiddenmar was just attack by the predator and there haven't been any annoucement that that threat have there even though the predator just rolled an initiative with the surprise action


Plus I can't grant your Passive DC Nature on the threat identity until Fiddenmar walked up to the door or gained a reasonale direct line of sight.

I believed Mimi's "Marked Targets" condition trumps  those at-will condition because of the "Until End Of The Encouter" clause but I'm also aware that I might be mistaken in this belief.

I will wait until I have read what Astromath posted ruling about this before either lifting or confirming the marking on Reston done by Mimi.

There are powers that allow PCs to end a mark placed on them. My guess would be this is the case with Steel Wind. I know one of my Rangers can do the same thing.

Right, similar to the Bluff Skill Power: False Bravado (PHB3)

Effects like these removed the 'marked' condition, regardless of duration. I've seen teams in the Core Coliseum use the power to avoid punishment from defenders.

I cleared up the save confusion on the Scene Shaping Power's description.

Below is a model of what a PC under the scene shaping condition turn functions like.
Ankarv:
Minor: DC 33 Insight vs L08: Oh, That's Eelen... 
Minor: DC 24 Insight vs M08: and this is; Hmmm, Uhhh... to the dephts with this!! Let's hope that since that Eelen to my left then this is but who esle it could be...,
Standard:  Vortex of Silver Blades (burst 1) w/ -5 penalties. If hit then target recieves 11 psychic damage.
vsM06(Ref), 33vsReflex Defense.
vsM08(Ref) 29vsReflex Defense. 
Saving throw: 18 Succeeds: Scene Shaping conditions on Ankarv ends.
END OF TURN:

@Whispers and Everybody:
Uhh, its also kinda like -10 penalties for Eelen last attack rolls unless he can shake both the chaos-touched and marked conditions; If you do then its -5 penalties.

If your PC succeed the DC Insight first before any attack done on the same turn or attack a tentacle then there's no penalty to those attack rolls.

You may redo your last entire turn if you want to add in some minor actions but if you don't add-in at least one minor action for a DC Insight check then you have to keep those attack rolls results from Eelen last posted turn with an additional -5 deducted from those last attack rolls' results.

Blind is -5 (which I included in my rolls)
Marked is -2 unless I include the marked creature in my attack (which I did, as my primary target, so that does not apply)
if Chaos touch is a further penalties, fine--apply accordingly.
