The towers are over 20 feet tall, and climbing consumes an extra square of movement per square moved. Nasios is therefore about fifteen feet up, and would probably need two more 'squares' of vertical movement to finish scaling the wall and make it to the roof.
If the towers are about 20 feet tall, that would be 4 squares, correct? If I'm starting in the bottom square and I move three squares up, wouldn't that put me in the fourth square, about 20 feet up? So I should only need one more square of move to put me over the top. I suppose that last square of move would still keep me from being on top, but I should be easily well out of reach of the dogs. Will I need to make another check to pull myself over the top next turn? And if so, will the DC still be 20?
As for the towers themselves, there are arrow slits mentioned on the first floor, are there also some on the second floor?

Yeah, I guess I didn't think about it in that light. 3 dimensions and all that. The last square of movement would pretty much be the small amount of wall you still need to climb and getting over the fortifications on top. DC would be another 20.
You are definitely out of reach of the dogs, unless they start shooting lasers or something. Or if when they bark they shoot bees at you or something. I don't think that's going to happen, though.
There are arrow slits all over. They got some on the second floor too.

Well, that DC 20 will suck if I fail from up here... I suppose it's technically only a 15 foot drop though, so my Acrobatics should be able to absorb the damage if I fail.
Arrow slits all over, very nice... How long till I run out of shurikens though? Better double check that.

Uh, Whisper, D2 is in column I because I hit it and slid it there so you guys could hopefully reach it easier. Might want to adjust your post...
Also, @ EDTA, is there a general rule for how long you will wait for Blood to post? And what do we do once that point has been reached, allow him to delay, or have someone npc him?

I was thinking of waiting no more than 5 days for an action from any player. If you think that is too long, I could go down to three days instead.
I'm thinking that I'd just have the person in question delay the first time around with their delay being tied to the person positing. If their turn comes up again and no action, then NPCing would probably be done.

The number of days should depend on the group really. I only ask because it seems that the other four players in our party are posting pretty much every day, or giving notice when they will be unable to post. Whisper even went so far as to make arrangements to have me npc his turn for him to keep the game moving.
In such a case, I think three days is better, just for the consideration of the other players who are more involved with the game. As for the delay/NPC sequence, I think that is an excellent idea! If it comes to it, is the NPCing something you would want to handle as the DM, or would you prefer to hand it off to one of the players?

I vote for three days as well. I'm a very fidgety Bard, and can't wait to see what happens in the story!

By the way, I have a n00b question: how do I get up to where Eelen is when I only have 5 squares of movement?
