OK, great. Let's say starting at 2,000 XP (L2), items and gold totalling 1,500gp (so you should be able to afford one magic item if it's cheap). Once everyone has a character posted up I'll start another thread for the game.

Oh, take half (well, average, so 4.5 for a d8 for example, round down). It's probably easier, especially in a PbP.

This is so damn complicated again - if i don a chainshirt i'm into medium load - sucks.

Well, you do have only 8 Str. You could get a Mithral Shirt but that might have to wait if you keep the wand. You'll suffer Arcane Spell Failure either way, though, so it might not be worth it.
I wasn't sure Dusklings could become Dragonborn, since they're Fey, but it looks to be OK - you end up as Fey with the Extraplanar, Incarnum and Dragonborn subtypes I think.
Looks pretty cool. I've never had chance to play a Dragonfire Adept myself but they look like fun.

Yes, theres spell failure, but i think i won't use my "spells" much in combat. I'll get quite a few buffs that last 24h, and they're at-will, so i can just take a few minutes in the morning, with or without armor, cast them, and be done. Might want to change it later on, but for now spell-failure really doesn't irk me. As doesn't the untrained armor attack penalty. The weight is another story though^^ Could switch wisdom and strength maybe.. Does wand usage incur spell failure as well? Also i'll only take the wand if we don't have a healer  --- The dragonfire adept is pretty neet. Lots of AoE, some control, some buffs, few places to screw up and very little ressource management. And dragons are cool anyway.

True enough.
Wands don't suffer ASF anyway I don't think, and AFAIK it wouldn't anyway since CLW is a divine spell. It is handy to be able to UMD one.
