Nice hall friends. Cal'Kulas looks briefly at the items and sees nothing that interests him. There seems to be nothing but rot and mould down the right passage. I'll scout ahead down the left one and see what's there. Who will join me? The wizard walks down to the left passage. He looks at the rotten floor and thinks to himself. I think I have a ritual that will fix this little problem. He pulls out his spell book and a handful of residuum and casts a ritual. After about 10 minutes of mumbling the floor looks brand new and sturdy. Cal'Kulas steps gingerly on the floorboards, then puts his whole weight on them. Not bad...not bad at all. He then walks to first door on his right and opens it a crack.

Better bad rolls on skill checks than in combat...

The floor boards recover amazingly under Cal'Kulas' ritual attentions. Not only do they hold up to the pressure, but they don't even creak.

As soon as he opens the door, Cal'Kulas sees that this room, is almost a solid mass of Spider webs. Looks that way, anyway. There are at least 5 spiders, all blending nicely into the mass. The webs were attached to the door. Cal'Kulas also sees a number of rodents nicely cocooned for arachnid dining pleasure. The spiders are quite agitated by his disturbing their web and are moving in a hostile manner
