Sadly, there are few games, and almost as few reliable players. So there's a lot of us in every game. It's almost like when I was in college, and the gaming group was about 12-20 people split between 2-4 games. Never knew who was going to be there or what game.

Well no, I'm just saying that Crimson has been in every game I've had a swarm in.

Swarms are fun monsters. Esp ones that get to attack the PCs on the Player's turns. Speaking of which...

These do seem like a lot of fun. I don't know how a group with all melee and no bursty would do. These could have been disasterous for us. I did like the encounter though. I wonder if I could intimidate the rest of the rats to surrender and become like arnold in beastmaster.

BeastMaster was Marc Singer.
You can try intimidate if you want. Depending on whether you make it your minor or standard (and the total roll), different effects would ensue.

One left with two more party members to attack it. Intimidate is probably pointless by now, though it could be quite humorous. "You rats, get onto plate, NOW!"
Though it's likely enough that Droth could kill them in one hit with his charge attack.

well, the rats have demonstrated the better part of valor, and are trying to flee. I would have allowed a good standard-action intimidate to cut their HP in half as they fled (from breath?) and a crit to just send them all flying. minor action could have pushed them into a pit or knocked them prone or some such. Anything for fun. Anyway, Droth can have whatever actions he wants. Everyone else gets an oppie.

Since you rested before openning the bag, yes, this was a milestone fight. Everyone has an action point. YAAAAAAAAyyyy (thank you, Kermit)

I waited far too late to respond. Sheesh. Way to get sidetracked me!
