DMs frequently swear as a result of some player exploiting game mechanics. It is part of the job description. Many players feel cheated if they don't get the DM to swear at least once per session.

that is very true. for as long as the dm is cussing, then the player knows he can go home to a job well done!
.......at least until the next session when the dm starts laughing maniacally and the players decide to pull out new sheets.

I don't know, the DM I used to play with used to swear for no reason. If he got upset enough, he would jokingly drop a random bolder out of the sky and kill the person that was 'breaking' the game. =D
