I know what you mean. When I first was getting into PbP I had a job where I had easy access to the internet. I was checking constantly and as a result I ended up joining something like 10 games. Most of which have died off now, which is probably good since I don't have as much free time. But I still manage to post about once a day.

OK, so here's the original plan.
Great old master was only supposed to have 300hp. For some reason, I got confused and thought that was the bloodied value.
But there's good news: the Bloodied and Death erruptions were supposed to be Aura 3--all unoccupied spaces. So that was changed to aura 1.
Aside from that, the encounter was pretty much as built, with a lvl6 solo. Yeah, level SIX solo. and a bunch of minions.
Last party sneaked it, got a stealth round, bloodied it in round 1, and every hachling that tried to get past the drow rogue and his #@&% cloud of darkness died. round 3, and that party of all-strikers had killed the beast. Mopping up the hachlings took a lot longer, but only 1 ended up escaping.
Oh, the undead master was also vulnerable 5 radiant, and had an at-will necrotic bolt. +7 vs Reflex, 2d10+3, range 15
Failing the bite save vs Slow would immobilize. Failing again knocked paralyzed.
So, the master lasted a couple rounds longer, but you didn't have nearly as many hachlings to fight off.
XP will be commesurate with monsters killed. Took longer, but this fight actually went better for both sides.
