We play on Fridays pretty regularly, with varying DMship, the only stipulations for this game are that we prefer playing with guys/girls who are together, attend regularly, and will chip into the pizza fund/bring grilling food when we grill.

 

We usually start around 6pm and play until {value not found}.

 

Things that disqualify you from joining with us:

 

not having a significant other. this is mostly a confidence screen, we've found that D&D gets better as you cut the stereotype nerds out of it, paradoxically.

 

homophobia. i host most games and my boyfriend attends when he's not working. if you've got a problem with it i'll deck you as a free action.

 

flakiness. we know that you can't always attend and that's cool, but we need to know a decent time in advance if you're not coming (non-comittal "I'll try" statements are worthless) and we prefer that you be able to make some 3 fridays in the month at minimum. We play quality, and for the effort that our DMs put into the material decent turnout is a fair thing to ask for.

 

transportation. We prefer that you be able to get yourself to our meetups. we had a guy who we had to truck back to westerville at the end of each night and it was a pain in the butt.

 

Things to not worry about:

 

experience. We will happily train you if you've never played D&D 4E before. It's fun to learn and play and we're all very patient with beginners.

 

nerd-level. You can be as geeky or whatever as you like, we just prefer the gf/bf thing because it shows that you're not socially abrasive and that you're not visually upsetting (we eat at game you see).
