Then the game started, and I thought to myself, "PariahKing lied to me." Don't get me wrong - I love PK. And I love Mafia. However, if I were certain players in that game, I'd be wondering, "What the hell is this?" DISCLAIMER: This is not intended to start any kind of flame war. Were I in the game, I wouldn't even be posting this. It just occurs to me that our long-debated use of Day 1 has been dropped in favor of something that resembles gang-rape. DISCLAIMER ON DISCLAIMER: Rape is not funny. Just throwing that out there. FAKE EDIT: Also, PK would never lie to me. Unless we we're in-game. Even on the same team. :P

I suggest you read Pony Mafia as well before basing your judgments on an extremely early day-1 game.

Ah, not really a troll, just a "first impression." You see, first impressions are very formative.
However, I concede that one Day 1 in one game isn't telling of a meta. It's just a heartbreaking first-look into a meta, especially if it's a meta you once carried a flag and fought to the death for (metaphorically speaking, of course; unless you count that one game with Glare and JaC where Icthys actually died - but we don't talk about that).

Thats not even one day 1 though is my point. Its 1-2ish rl days into one Day 1.
And I actually am in that game so I'll be quiet about it now XD.

1) I actually have started reading #Pony (thank you for recommending it), and with exception of Niklor it's pretty much the same so far, just with less votes on a single person (I'm only so many pages in). It's entertaining, mind you, but I'm not sure I'd want to be a new player in that game. 2) You appear to be in this game, so I would recommend being very, very careful about what you say regarding it. I don't know how draconian SJT is regarding the practice of people in a game talking about it while it's in progress, but-- ah, nevermind; you're already on it.

If you've come here as a result of what you perceive to be a deception, it was not intentional. Nor, if you feel decieved, would I be offended if you didn't want to partake in any games or community here.
However it is entirely true that there has been a new focus on activity and improving play. In the week or so it's been, I'm personally proud of the advancement in morale, activity and quality. Had you arrived shortly before things blew up, perhaps things would appear slightly different to your perspective. Circumstances were, frankly, extremely horrible and things have picked up. If your first impression of nowadays Px2 is Star Wars, that game started six months ago and has lingered on like a skunk run over by a truck, part of the reason game sizes have been shortened.
As for Silly's game - that just started, it's in the quasi-random stage. You're looking at an outlier and determining it to be the norm. As for Pony, I think that game is acceptable in terms of quality. I'm not sure what you see about it to be in some way awful.
I would be curious to see if you have any specific examples of things you would change or problems still unaddressed - a vague statement of "this is flawed," I can't do anything about that to fix my "lie."

Here, evidence: If I was truly upset about what I've seen so far, would I be performing CPR on the RP thread and plowing through months of Star Wars? Am I being complimented for commenting on everything or just noted as doing so?
#pony chatI, Niklor, in the event of a situation where I am placed at L-1, in other words 1 vote away from being lynched, will bring the hammer vote down upon myself unless it is a known Lylo situation by either announcement or general consensus. Note, if the general consensus is that it's Lylo on days when it clearly isn't, I will ignore them. Please respect the self-hammer by not hammering Niklor in non-Lylo scenarios.
