It was a half-joke! I still hate lurkers, and the overblown'ness of it was a joke, but the game evolved to a point where people were actually talking, so hunting lurkers wasn't especially necessary. That said it ended up working out anyway.
@Razor: I still stand behind my case, but the way yesterday played out is fairly exonerating.
I don't like Ahlyis' post on FFP. Something about it bugs me but I'm not sure what. Too jokey for whats happened so far. Need to go back and read up day 1 but for now:

why? I pushed for another lurker until the very last second. how does that make me less suspicious? that's a way better case than anything you said about me yesterday.

Having read the thread, I will place a tentative vote for now on Silly.
Vote: Silly
He made a case whose individual points were weak and look even weaker now that I believe Theatog is town and that bothers me. Plus, he had earlier said he would switch to a lurker near deadline and then did so, which, while consistent, bothers me considering how he was earlier gunning for Theatog and never really went hard after lurkers during the day. It feels to generally convenient for me to switch to a lurker wagon at end of day, especially as he did so before it was bandwagoned on by 3 more players. Feels like it might have been a nader vote, but once it gained some steam he had no choice but to stick with it or look scummy.
There is a lot of speculation there, but my gut says it's a good vote and I will trust it for the moment.
#pony chatI, Niklor, in the event of a situation where I am placed at L-1, in other words 1 vote away from being lynched, will bring the hammer vote down upon myself unless it is a known Lylo situation by either announcement or general consensus. Note, if the general consensus is that it's Lylo on days when it clearly isn't, I will ignore them. Please respect the self-hammer by not hammering Niklor in non-Lylo scenarios.

Did you? My memory decieves me, I thought you were on SF basically the whole day.

Freddeh is once again quick to drop something. Not entirely surprising.
So we only go after lurkers when most everyone is lurking, because not going after lurkers because mostly everyone is not lurking still let's lurker's lurk. On a plus note, I think the lurkers may understand we are not tolerating such behavior in this particular game, assuming any scum were still among the pool of people that were on and off lurking.
Oh, that reminds me. Silly was against lurker lynching early in the day, which is another reason I find his statement about will lynch lurkers and then doing so to be odd.
I don't like how FFP is dropping me being scum without explanation. Ahlyis's inquiry into his odd behavior is a good thing.

You throw townie points around to freely. He is to gain as scum or town by pointing out things that are just wrong, since people are more likely to think he is telling the truth if he does so.

I lied. Sorry, but I never intended to try to protect myself, but I did protect Theatog.
Just putting that out there. I realize there could be another role interaction, but given that there was no Nightkill, I'm betting that Theatog is town for now.
Read new stuff and post.
Then will begin rereading old stuff and post.
And then will eventually probably make a case.
My first post in day two, this is where i'm at currently
Just want to say this is officially the first Day 1 Scum lynch I experienced. The feeling is SOO good. Then on top of that is a kill-less N1. It's like christmas XD
