I don't really understand the case on PeregrineV.  I've read through the arguments against him and they never really stood out very strongly to me.

I'd actually be interested in a PK lynch tomorrow, since I want to make sure he brings Zipperflesh back.  I'm not particularly trusting of PK's random absurd sudden actions like this since he is very good at being deceitful.

If anyone has any questions for me, go at it.

What's the case on Tevish, again? Sure, he took a big run at Zipper earlier, and his arguments look worse in light of Zipper's confirmed townness. That alone just seems a bit thin to me. There's no point in me putting words in your mouth, though: could you point me to your case or repost your thoughts?

We've got two days till lynch and I don't see any case compelling enough for my vote. It's embarrassing to say that after three Days' worth of activity I've got no clue on who's scum, but it's the truth. PK vigged a townie a little hastily, plus people who know him better than me say he's acting out of character; not huge piles of evidence, but more than anybody else. Yet, I think that most agree it makes more sense to wait until after Night to see how his droid-resurrect shakes out.

I'd advocate a lurker lynch, then. Low activity's killing the town, so a shot in the dark seems like a better choice than killing somebody who's contributing anything. Scanning the players list, the names that jump out to me are JaC, KoD, and Eiru. Bughferd, too, but since he confirmed Ahylis' "three-vanilla-jedi" claim, I'd give him the slightest of inclinations towards town. I said Eiru last, so I'll vote for Eiru. If anyone has a better candidate (or another case, of course), I'm all ears.

Lurker lynches are lame. Any vote you make is a shot in the dark and if you take out the actives and leave only inactives then you are capable of controlling the lynch. Meanwhile if you take out nothing but inactive townies you move closer and closer to giving control of the lynch to scum, who can simply pick off key active members and lead the subsequent lynches straight to victory. Lurkers will be replaced or modkilled. There's no reason for us to assume we need to do the mod's job for him. Focus your efforts on finding scum, and not policy lynching.

Except it is rediculously easy for scum to lurk to win mafia games around here lately, having just done it myself in the pc >_>.

You know how we did things in my day? We killed the most active townies, left the inactives, and controlled the lynch through majority force. It's insanely easy for scum to control the flow of the game because they know exactly who they are and who they aren't. But the moment we stop scum hunting and just go for straight policy lynches we tell scum we don't care about the outcome of the game. You should never stop scum hunting. Ever. The only people that really have a need to push such a policy is scum itself...

And you can say the same thing about killing actives. If you kill the actives its easier for scum to sit back, nk the actual active people killing other actives, and then plunge the game into inactivity, which is an even easier scum win.

Oh and I'm not advocating policy lynches either, I'm advocating lynching scummy lurkers over scummy actives, assuming equalish levels of scumminess.
