Lognar emerges from the suds with a deep sigh. Looking past his steaming glass of tea he admires the view from the window of his mountaneous home. "Nothing like ther icy peaks of home to relaxe you after a long campagine", he thinks, as he reaches for his crisp tart. Absent mindedly chewing on the head of hs great axe, he stares at three strangers before him as suds drip his head and land upon his heavy maleburk. A roar errupts from across the lava strewn cave as a great beast charges towards the dispiarate group. A small voice chuckles from an unknown direction as first one, then another of the creatures fall to the strange beast, their bodies vanishing into the very air of the scorching room. With a desperate push Lognar and the mysterious minator shove their foe into the boiling lava of the dark chamber. Battered and stunned, Lognar sits in his tub, wounds closing before his eyes. The distant sun descends upon the horizion, casting a long shadow of his cooling beverage.
So, the obvious scenario here is a bit clich'd, the application of a summon humanoid spell. The Idea is that, every so often, Toasted Amphibian will build an encounter or dungeon, set at a specific difficulty level and will then, without giving any indication of what is in store, ask for character submissions of a certaint level. Any submissions will be randomly assigned to teams, and thrown upon the battfield and compelled to fight the denziens presented, for no other reason than the ammusment of a sadistic undead toad. Gameplay would be highly combat/exploration orriented, with any character interaction taking place between the PC's themselves. Participants are free to have as much or as little back story for their characters as they wish, and are free to dictate the activites they where involved in at the time of the summons. PC's may often meet brutal ends, but whatever the outcome, they appear back, unharmed, in whatever local they where pulled from once their part in the melee has ended.
