About Me: Howdy! I'm a gamer, writer, podcaster and participant in all manner of other geekery. I spend most of my time struggling to figure out how to chisel an existence out of some combination of those things.

Movies: Some of my favorites include Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings, Time Bandits, Hot Fuzz, Dark City, The Third Man, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Snatch, The Monty Python films, Doctor Strangelove... and many others!

TV Shows: Let's see... lately it's been Doctor Who (both versions), Supernatural, Dexter and True Blood. In addition to those I've traditionally liked Star Trek, Deadwood, Red Dwarf, The Daily Show, Rome, Monty Python's Flying Circus, the Twilight Zone and many more.

Books, Comics and Graphic Novels: Some of my favorite authors are Douglas Adams, Roger Zelazny, Gene Wolfe, Neil Gaiman, H.P. Lovecraft and Terry Pratchett. I don't get to read comics and/or graphic novels too often these days but I've always liked Jonah Hex, Preacher, the Flash, the Incredible Hulk and various Batman-related items.

Music: I'm not hugely into the music scene but here are some bits of it that I like: They Might Be Giants, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Shostakovich, Orbital, Ray Charles, David Bowie, Mussorgsky, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Wynton Marsalis.

I'll hopefully be trying out Burning Wheel and In a Wicked Age soon.
