    Because this was the first time my players were against a flying opponent I used a fixed value so they could get used to accounting for vertical and diagonal vertical distances. For minor height differences I plan to use a d6 or some other token to indicate. Also, I have plans to expand this set up vertically with another tier of pillars and a second plexi grid.
