Hi,
There is this weekend gaming convention coming up in February. It's called BattleCry and it has all sorts of gaming things going on.
17th, 18th, 19th February.
ASB Stadium, Kohimarama, Auckland. Beside Selwyn College.

All day Saturday and Sunday there is roleplaying happening, including a pile of DnD. Some of the local RPGA GM's that help out at some of the store events are GMing a range of games including the Lair Assault modules, Encounters and the current RPGA games. No titles have gone up onto the website yet but some will over the next few weeks.
It currently costs $25 to pre-register for the weekend.
Apart from roleplaying there are a pile of gaming events happening. Board games, card games, wargaming, larping, workshops, a Masquerade Ball, an outside games day which includes Mad Victorian Hatters and kites... it looks like it will be a wicked weekend.
It's also free entry for spectators so if you just want to go along for a look you can.
Are any of you thinking of going?
