Hey guys I thought I would kick off this thread with a new character I have made for the Pharaohs campaign a mate from uni is running.

This is only my 3rd or 4th character that I have made.. That I can remember I used to play a long time ago so have forgotten alot.. However I think he's pretty cool.

Basically The outline of his history will be along the lines of, Him being sold into slavery as a young boy by his farther against his mothers will. Growing up as a slave he had been through many difficult times (to much in fact to be told here.. (*double brackets!!* that And I don't actually have the imagination to come up with any more) so I will continue with the most significant of his woes).

The most horrific act his slave master inflicted on him was when he entered adult hood and had his tounge removed by his slave master over a petty act of teenage rebellion. Being that his master was known for such acts of brutality it was no surprise as many of the slaves under his houses rule had suffered the same fate (these slaves began to be known as the silent dead).

Left with no voice and little way to communicate, survival became much more difficult as a mute, but with the removal of his tongue Akori grew in other ways. His spirituality was one such personal gain as well as his intellect, all of which came as a consequence of loosing the ability of speech.

As Akori grew from his teens to his early twenties his arcane powers flourished. Until one such night, he was urged to kill his slave master by the scarab beetle that his slave master worshiped (because of the link Egyptians believe exists between their god Ra (sun) and the sacred scarab beetle in which they rise from the earth in the morning and berry them selves into at night)

Now longing to be reunited with his mother, Akori (and the scarab beetle he has begun worships) are in hiding for the murder of his slave master, waiting for an opportunity to flee the city in order to find his mother.

So, that is his background/story.. The most interesting part will be playing a Mute in a campaign trying to come up with new ways to communicate to the rest of the team etc.. Should be lots of fun.

Here are his details from the character builder.. I didn't mant to make the perfect character I wanted him to be flawed in order to give myself a challenge and to have to find a way to work with others in order to sucsess at the game etc.
