Hello! I got your broadcast and decided that it would be a great idea to tell you all about something. I've started a fantastic initiative that has blossomed into a fully fledged division within my gaming guild. I've included my informational post for recruitment below. If you're interested in the guild and/or joining one of the Wizards Virtual Table campaigns we're running (or in running your own) please see the links at the bottom of this post. Chur! ~Ardis Foxx, VT RPG Division Commander ------------------- Our guild is divided into divisions devoted to the primary games we play together. The VT RPG Division now stands alongside our other successful divisions for Star Wars: The Old Republic and Battlefield 3. About Eternal Vigilance"Eternal Vigilance is not merely a 'clan' - we like to call ourselves a multi-gaming guild, and this is a source of great pride to us. We have crafted a chain of command that is conducive to such an environment; constantly adapting to the interests of the members so that your membership with Eternal Vigilance lasts longer than your interest in a single game. When you join Eternal Vigilance, you are making a decision that will likely benefit you for years to come. In our experience, multi-gaming guilds - guilds that participate in multiple games and add divisions as participation dictates - have not only a much longer lifespan, but perform exceedingly well in every game that they choose to participate in. This is only logical; members of multi-gaming guilds have known each other for years and have this advantage under their belt when working together towards goals in new games. When we founded Eternal Vigilance, we knew from the beginning that this advantage would be invaluable towards the success of the guild. Thus, from the very start, we have shaped and streamlined our structure to support the strenuous demands of such ambitious endeavors. Our divisions are not 'clans within a guild' unlike many multi-gaming organizations... we have carefully, with much thought and attention to detail, created a fluid system that enables our friendly, atmospheric gaming community to operate like a well-oiled machine. About the Virtual Table RPG DivisionOverviewThe Virtual Table RPG division exists to preserve (or ignite for the first time) the old school tabletop gamer in all of us. The division was founded in November 2011 by Ardis Foxx and Viv. We are mainly focused on the D&D 4th Edition ruleset, but we also play other systems such as Star Wars Saga Edition. We use the D&D Insider’s Virtual Table software to host these games online. GoalsThe motivating factor of the division is to ensure the best play experience possible for an internet-based tabletop RPG. We hold a high standard of excellence in creating, maintaining and running campaigns. For a detailed look at how we achieve this, please read the VT RPG Division Charter. Why Join?
Our division offers more than any single gaming group can. We have a dedicated center of leadership, experienced Dungeon Masters, and expertly crafted campaigns. We are driven to make the game a success, and to elevate each member to a place where they can run their own campaign if they so choose. If you need advice on how to play or DM a game, we have the knowledge base to make it great. No matter what game we’re playing, Eternal Vigilance has always been dedicated to maintaining a friendly, mature, active community; We’re a home away from home. We’re as dedicated to our games as we are to our community, and we believe that if things are built on a solid foundation, they have every chance to exceed expectation. Although we realize that nothing is ever perfect, we know that the ability to change and evolve is important, which is why we are a democratic guild. Everyone has a voice that will be heard. These are the values we bring to tabletop gaming. If this sounds good to you, that’s great! Introduce yourself in the Public Discussion forum here, and read about our application process here.

Thanks Prom. As for group blogs, we mainly hold conversation over at the guild forum, as we are a community unto ourselves over there. We're more than just a guild, we're a family, as our friendships outlast the games we play and we know each other so well. It's great to have two more members aboard, I think you'll be impressed with the level of maturity, friendliness and organisation we have.

Actually what I mean is make a blog on the WotC forums for the Eternal Vigilance Guild. What is going on there is really inventive. Otherwise you are posting multiple threads that are the same and you run the risk of breaking the code of conduct, by posting the same thread more than twice. Just a suggestion.

As I say though, these aren't meant to be discussion threads, merely advertisements for the campaigns that we are running, the same as any other gaming group. We don't hold conversations on the wizards site, we only ask for interested players and DM's to send me a PM.
