Since hearing of this place of Helms Hold Dunn has not slept without dreams of one day ruling these people that most think of as "less than human". Being of the same affliciton, but much more intune and in control of the affliction Dunn's subconcious seems to be sowing seeds of a grand and great "freeing" and control of these poor misguided souls under the guidance of his Lord Bane using Dunn as an impliment to shatter the feeble forces that now stand outside the walls of Helms Hold.

The spellscarred really do have a bad lot in life. The affliction is (mostly) due to no fault of their own but they are viewed as monsters and run out of most cities. Lord Neverember's casual disavowing of their plight just goes to show that the North is no different.

Alek's acquisition of that shield really did make a huge difference. Ruining the lycanthropes ability to heal and access some of their most dangerous powers was a huge boon for the team.

I like Furakas. He's a bit more humble than most dwarves, knows what he's good at, and acts like he doesn't always care but you can tell he does.
