I'm running a campaign at the moment with a good amount of politics... my players have decided the city is evil and they will adventure elsewhere. Sad, but the real fun is finding ways to make them go back to the city they hate, bwahahah

Some time in the next 12 months, I'll be running a more political campaign in Eberron where Erandis Vol through her various agents will become a stablising influence in a particular region... For her own purposes, of course!

IMO : The most important is the rules, definely, but I just LOVE the drawings.... you may put a whole book just of them for me... LOL ... seriously, I love them... and DRAGONS.

if i can't read it, then i look at the pretty pictures then toss it aside. i need hard usable data to add to my game. fluff should only be used to augment a product, not overwhelm it. case in point the atlas of dragonlance, pretty, but useless.

Malifaux is a great example of a card-based miniatures game that is a blast to play. I would love to adapt Malifaux's magic system to 4E.

I would say, that while I particularly prefer dice in my mini/tactics games, I'd still be willing to give a card-based mechanic a try. But doesn't cost become an issue here? Buying the minis isn't exactly cheap, and as opposed to using dice already owned, you have to buy cards? Great marketing scheme, granted, but if this is the direction, it seems a 'get started' pack will be the only thing I'll buy, even if I end up liking it. Note, I sold my MtG cards about 5 years ago - just lost...

I love the colossal dragon carcass. While the art might not be as fancy as some of the others, on closer examination you can see the potential behind the design. If I was running it, the players wouldn't know what they were getting themselves into. Eventually they'll realize where they are and the moment of that realization would be pretty amazing.

I have already plundered these great, great dungeons for my own home game. Great material (did I say "great" yet?)! Congratulations to all of the dungeon designers. It is clear why each of your dungeons were picked! Props to the creators of Maiden of the Blighted Steps, Dungeon of the Sleeping Dragon and the Colossal Dragon Carcass! Ultimately Maiden has my vote, but I GUARANTEE players in my game will eventually be encountering a dungeon with bungee jumping Kobolds, and a sleeping dragon...

Thanks everyone. I am overwhelmed by the kind words. It has been an interesting trip, doing this freelance stuff for WotC. I've learned a great deal--although probably not as much as I should! :-)

Loved playtesting it. Some of those "easy" encounters worked surprisingly well and my players loved those little details. The end version looks like a top notch product (paging through it as I type). My compliments. Of course, having playtested it, I cannot use it in my regular group, but still ;)
