Hi, I am having a difficult time with DMing and getting to know my characters.  I understand that I am a little hyper, but I feel that I need a group of people where I can be comfortable with being who I am and not being harassed for being who I am.  I am learning, I have only started playing for about more than six months.  What can I do?  What suggestions can you give?  I know that there is a wide spectrum of ppl out there, and there are a wide spectrum of how to play or be part of a group.  What if I wanna start my own group?  How does one go about that?

Hello all I am in need of help. I am currently running in a dark sun campaign, a land of little magic...sigh, and hell for leaders, arcane or devine based. As per the DM's restrictions i took the challenge of building an artificer as the leader for a 5 man party. There are very few resources that can help build an optimal artificer. Being a DM for over a few years now, im getting rusty at character creation. I know all is possible just need a little guidence, any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thank You

My D&D group has spread out slightly in the last year, and it has become a little harder to organize sessions with a majority of the party making it to play. A player asked me about finding a way to play over the internet. SO I would like to know if anyone knows a good site or software to use to play online. The player who asked me said something about WotC designing a virtual tabletop, but I have found nothing to verify this. Can anyone help?

I have the ideas, the knowledge, i just cant get a working campaign. Can anyone help me, because me and my players are wanting to play soon since we have taken a break for scedule purposes. What are some tips i could use?

Hello All, I was looking for an online tool for monster pogs that I know was posted on one of the forum posts. I couldn't find it. That's when it occured to me that the wiki would be a perfect place to put links to resources. That way they'd be easily accessible and you wouldn't have to look through a bunch of threads to find a reference again. So, I created a wiki page for DM Resources. Good day everyone,   I steal ideas from every source I can find.  I am running a 3.5 campaign for a group of 6 players.   The region the players are currently playing in is a run by a Theocracy with a fake Monarchy head.  The Theocracy runs the military and has essentially banned/outlawed arcane magic by "questioning" anyone that uses, displays it. Two key notes: The party's rogue is really a spy from a neighboring region.  This is not known by the rest of the party. Essentials did exactly what Wizards hoped it would do (at least for me), it's brought this long-lapsed player and four of my friends back into the fold. One look at that Red Box and everyone just freaked out! I haven't played D&D in probably 15 years (AD&D or Basic) and was always more of a player than a DM, which makes it kind of intimidating, but everyone was excited to play so I made a leap of faith and we just scheduled it for this coming Friday.  I'm planning on "running" the solo character creation scenario with my entire group of four players present, switching back and forth...
