Without backing myself in a corner, I would like to find a hook in a campaign that has to do with assassins, ok, 1 assassin. How would I attack(set up the attack) on the character? I know this might sound crazy, but as the DM would I just attack the character with the assassin as an encounter?? I have the party leading up to this, they don't have a clue as to the underlying story, they haven't even touched the surface just yet, I hope. Anyway, comments, concerns, and complaints will all be accepted, complaints will be concedered, then shot.
