I have been running 4e since Oct., but my adventures are actually 1e. And yes, I do make changes and etc. to make it all work. I am wondering if anyone else has been taking this route as well?

Thanks Elauria. We have agreed within the groups that like most active powers, stances end at the end of an encounter, therefore need reactivating once a new encounter begins.

@Vobeskhan: Technically a stance or aura lasts until you turn it off or get KO'd. So you can get up in the morning, wash your face, put on your boots, and turn on your Defender Aura and Hold the Line stance. Either way, it's a tad silly. Either you let Slayers walk around in Battle Wrath all day ("dude, what are you so upset about?"), or you never let them 'prepare' for combat in an obviously-dangerous situation.

So a quick question, do pc's start already in "stances" and "auras", so far I have ruled that players must initiate the relevant powers once a combat starts - thoughts?
