- Lavanya , a girl born from the coupling of a farmer’s wife and the god Pelor, compared to the goddess Sehanine. Sehanine tricks Lavanya into leaving her people. She slips on the path, tumbles into the rushing waters of the river Nentir, and drowns. Regretful, Sehanine’s tears fall like starlight upon the body, which vanishes beneath the shroud.
