Upon the end of the Dawn war, the elemental forces of the universe began building anew from the damage that had been done.

One of the worlds they created was Findaelin, creating a metal cored world with a high gravitational field to stave off the solar wind from the young star they built it around.

After building the world's mass and it's elements, they began to experiment with new chains of amino acids and protiens in the turbulent atmosphere and oceans, created by using the four fundamental forces of the universe and shocking particles together in the primordial ooze, to create self replicating life.

Setting in motion the process of evolution amongst the primitive life forms, the elementals guided the formation of the young world to

The sun's rays filtered through the stained glass upon the assembly of the Caeltori Clansmeet, who had gathered in the ancient hall in a stifling summer afternoon at the behest of the aging King, Aeolfred. The King glanced at his newly appointed Draconian soothsayer. In fact, the whole assembly of lords eyed the strange reptilian humanoid, as if he was something of an exotic curiosity meant to entertain the court. There was no funny business in Ling Shong being here in a foreign court, long from his home in the far east. He had grave news for the king, and in fact, the entirety of the west. He traveled from kingdom to kingdom, being laughed out of every noble assembly or court, begging that they take heed of the grave tidings he brought for their kingdoms. There was

In the beginning, there was darkness. There was nothing but chaos and entropy.

Then, there was light. It beat back the darkness with its hymns of harmony and beauty, singing creation into existence. And shedding the light upon the cosmos, was that of Lucindius, the great servant of The Power. He imprisoned the old ones and their demon servants in the space between, causing them to slumber for all eternity, to wait upon the cosmos at the edge of dream. He sung to the elementals of the cosmos of The Power's never ending Glory and power, and that their creation would never end, so long as they created things to serve a greater order. And so the cosmos was born, ever expanding, to bring light to all creation.

But there was darkness that festered within Lucindius' heart, as his battle

Part II

In this thread I will discuss what races are allowed in the game and how they fit into the lore of the world.

Humans
Humans are the most prolific race on the face of Findaelin, they are found anywhere, and are the most adaptable. The most famous of the Human empires is Nerathe, which destroyed the hobgoblin empire of Cargathe, and sought to establish an eternal empire upon their continent.

Dwarves
Dwarves are a mortal humanoid most renowned for their feats of engineering, and their ability to shape and manipulate the earth, creating a vast system of city states under the earth,

This is a continuation of this thread located here:

In this thread, I will be discussing Power souces, and how it fits into the lore of the world.

Divine Power: A character that wields divine power has simply unlocked his spiritual potential as a being through his beliefs and communed with cosmic energy and the power of divine or the profane; By releasing that which binds and weighs down his soul, he can take on the personage and power of a god.
Some people and cultures call this "Finding one's calling" or "Releasing his Chakras". A character who uses divine powers may not be good; he has simply become a channel for greater power, and that just might be a profane power.
This makes characters like "Anti-Paladins" more viable as a player

Hello, everyone. I'm here to dicuss lore for my DDI VTT Campaign, Ashes to Ashes part 1.

The first thing I'm going to talk about is the cosmology of the world of Findaelin.

"There is one universe; similar to ours in all aspects of physics, save one: Magic and Life and planes. There are multiple planes; One being "Heavan", the place of beings that wish to create harmony and peace dwell (Lawful Good and Good Beings), and where souls that dedicated themselves to such ideals go (The equivalent of Celestia); Hell, a place of beings who wish to create order through fear, despair and greed, (Lawful Evil and Evil Beings), and a place of punishment who failed or reward for souls who dedicated themselves to such ideals (The equivalent of the Nine Hells).

The equivalent to the shadow fell is a
