My Magic Play Style is:
I enjoy all sorts of control and combo decks. When I say control, I don't limit it to permission; I've enjoyed playing many different incarnations of Parfait, Black Control, and Ponza decks over the years. I very rarely gravitate towards aggro in any given constructed format, unless it proves itself to be far and away the deck to beat.
My favorite deck ever is probably Brian Weissman's The Deck circa 1995 (5 color control with Moat and Disrupting Scepters). I also loved the old versions of Extended Oath with Morphlings and Spike creatures.
As far as aggro goes, I've always liked Suicide Black and Stompy. I've never been particularly enamored with mono White or Red for the most part, though I did enjoy playing WW with Empyrial Armors for a time back in the day.
My favorite Magic card is:
I have a lot of pet cards from yesteryear that aren't good enough to be competitive but are fun in casual multiplayer formats—Thelonite Druid, Tracker (with Blanchwood Armor!), Serrated Arrows, etc.
As far as cards go that are actually good, I've always been fond of Blue's big three (Ancestral, Walk, Twister) and of course you can't go wrong with Necropotence, Dark Confidant, and Yawmgmoth's Will. I must confess I really don't find most of the newer cards that exciting, though I like remakes of old favorites, i.e., Scepter of Fugue.
