So....clearly, I've been AWOL.  I went on a vacation at the end of the year, and didn't think of notifying the boards here; and now I've been back for almost 2 weeks, and I still haven't done anything...

I've lost my motivation. With just 2 games running, the act of remembering to bring my files, log on, update, and make sure everything's running properly...these things I can no longer bring myself to do.  My humblest apologies.

It's not just MPFG, but Magic in general...after playing Magic with almost no break since Fallen Empires (i.e., for about 15 years), I feel like I've just suddenly lost interest.  The last set failed to excite me; I haven't checked the mothership or any Magic blogs since last year; I've only played online once in about the last 6 weeks, and it wasn't even that satisfying.

I mean, I know none of this matters to the two of you, so all I can say is I'm sorry for abandoning this (this match, MPFG, etc.).  I just know that even if I try to start running this again, I'm not going to be able to sustain enough interest to finish it over the several more months it's likely to take.

So, I wish you both all the best.  I would not be surprised if 6 months, a year, or more finds me back and playing. Addiction is for life, so even though I'm not drinking playing now, I'll always be a Magic addict.

well, in that case, good game, SJT. was very intense up to the end. if you want, we could try to keep running it, controlling our own draws. I still have my deck list, and I'd like to see how this plays out. if not, then it was fun while it lasted.

have fun, Qwyrky. take care of yourself. if you come back, that's great, but either way, good luck with whatever you wind up doing.
