Tina: "See you on the other side." Dr. Hill tells you as you step through the vortex and come out on the other side. The slide itself felt like a few seconds but your stopwatch registered only a one second difference. It was hot and cold at the same time and the new place you landed in was colder than where you had come from. Not enough to need to throw on your jacket but just enough to notice. You are standing in the middle of a park. The vortex closes suddenly behind you. You look around in amazement, no one else came through?


Nolan: Good press turnout. Everything is set. Well worth the million and a half you dropped to be able to be here today. "So you think there'll be hot chicks in this other reality?" Julian Mercury, another rich celebrity asks you while you are trying to listen to the instructions and "in case of emergency" speech. "I hope there is...I mean think of it...the possibilities are endless, from a dimension of only hot girls, maybe some with tails...or a dimension full of shrimp how awesome would that be?" The portal opens and the security detail goes through and the security detail behind you tells you its your turn. You step through and get the feeling like you're going through a roller coaster. When you step out you see that the security team is opening fire on something around the corner from where you are. You get bumped from behind as the rest of the detail emerges and as you look behind you the vortex closes.


JD: You jump through the vortex to get away from the Police and the bullets they fired also fly through the vortex. You tuck and roll as you land and you can hear the bullets ricocheting off the ground. You come to a stop behind a dumpster. Just then you hear footsteps approaching and then you hear more gunfire erupt around the corner.   

JD gets low to the wall and moves quietly towards the corner. [Towards the gunfire? What are you thinking? Well, you can't go back so you might as well go forward.] He peeks around the corner to see what exactly was going on around the corner.

Intrigued JD will continue to watch the drama ahead unfold from around the corner.

Both: Two of the guards come back through the alley "Let's go we got to get you two to safety...I don't know what happened...this wasn't our scheduled slide...we were supp-" his sentence is cut short as a bullet exits the front of his face and into the wall next to Julian "Here take this" the second guard says as he activates the slide machine and pushes Nolan and Julian through it and hands the device to Julian. He then turns back towards the alley returning fire as he rushes forward. JD you look down at your Slide Machine and notice that it's counting down from two hours. You figure this is probably the recharge time, after all it was a prototype, it probably needed a warm up/ cool down time...the Slide Machine that was just handed to the Caucasian didn't seem to have that limitation.

Tin: As you look around you notice that everything looks normal. Skies the same color, park doesn't look strange in any waydogs don't rule the world as far as you can tell. Looks like you transported onto a very peaceful reality. You are then covered by a shadow then another and another. You look up to see five... Show OOC: Show
