    About Me

      About Me: I hate filling in the "about me" box. I never know how to begin. But I guess I should do it anyway, right? My name's Michelle and I'm almost 23 years old. I'm from Oregon, but living in the UK for now.

      I've been gaming off and on since I was around 10 or 11 years old, but only recently gotten serious about it. My brother like to play D&D (AD&D at the time), so every now and then he'd make me a character and talk me into playing a few sessions.

      I got married in March of 2006 to Steve, who loves to play RPGs of all kinds. Whenever he would go to someone's house to play, I'd tag along and sit reading while the boys played. It was only a matter of time before they peer-pressured me into joining the game.

      And it just snowballed from there. I'm now a whole-hearted gamer. My favorite game is Darwin's World. But of course, I'm always happy with a good old D&D game. I prefer 3.5 to 4th edition, but will happily play either one.

      I ran my own game briefly. It was a Darwin's World campaign. It was a lot more work than I expected. I'd really love to pick it back up again, but I'm suffering from a case of shaken confidence. In the meantime, I'm running a solo adventure for my husband. I'm hoping doing that will give me enough practice and confidence to become a real GM.
      Movies: I like drama, comedy, romantic comedy, fantasy, things like that. It's hard to find an action movie that I like, but I've found a few. I don't really like horror or psychological thrillers. I used to LOVE them, but I've become wussified in the last few years.
      Books, Comics and Graphic Novels: I love to read. I will literally read absolutely any book you set in front of me. I'm usually in the middle of 3 or 4 books at any given time.
      Hobbies: Other than gaming (obviously), I love to bake. That is my number one stress reliever. I also decorate cakes. I hope to someday open either a bakery or a cakery. Haven't decided which yet.

    I'd love to play Darwin's World again I thought that It was A fantastic game I had so much fun. I really had a good feel for My character and you set the mood so well. I'm sad to hear that your confidence was shaken. You are a great GM so please lets do It again sometime.^-^
