About Me: I've been playing D&D since I was nine, back in the Moldvay red box days.
I'm more active on my blog: The 25 Mile Hex than on this site.
Movies: These aren't my all time favorites but they have been an influence on me in gaming. In no particular order:
The 13th Warrior, Beowulf and Grendel, Time Bandits, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Ladyhawk (while ignoring the Yes soundtrack as best as possible), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Krull, Fire and Ice, Conan the Barbarian, Conan The Destroyer, The Hexer, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, The Land That Time Forgot, The Lord of the Rings movies, The Hobbit, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Alice In Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, The Black Cauldron
On the meta level, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising is pretty hilarious whereas Gamers is complete crap. I like the opening scene of Cloak and Dagger too.
TV Shows: Lost, The Prisoner, Buffy, Max Headroom, Twin Peaks, The Sandbaggers, The Man From Uncle, Touching Evil, X-Files, The Guild (Internet TV, right?)
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels: I read more SF than Fantasy but I do like the fantasy stuff by these authors:
M. John Harrison, Andrzej Sapkowski, George R. R. Martin, Alan Moore, H. P. Lovecraft, Aston Clark Smith, Fritz Leiber, Robert E. Howard, Jack Vance, Jorge Luis Borges, Michael Moorcock, Roger Zalazny
Music: Not that it has anything to do with gaming but I like post-punk, electro, techno and early industrial stuff. I DJ and VJ every so often and I'm very bad at the guitar. Oontz!
Wizard Book Lines:
Hobbies: Collecting old RPG stuff especially TSR stuff. Unfortunately, I've been too good at it and I've got just about everything I want.
Likes: I like how I'm going to totally geek out on this profile unlike on Facebook.
Dislikes: Psionics. I'm hating it with my mind.
Axis & Allies
Dungeons & Dragons
Other Games I Play: I prefer to DM using my own campaign world but my favorite published settings for D&D are Birthright, Greyhawk and Judge's Guild's Wilderlands.
I enjoy video gaming as well, mostly solo RPGs and FPSs. I never really get into MMO games much, they seem a fry cry from setting down with friends playing a pen and paper games.
I like Traveller and Call of Cthulhu and also have a soft spot in my heart for Spy and Western RPGs.
I've spent a lot of time in the past playing:
4e/5e Call of Cthulhu
1e/2e World of Darkness
Palladium system stuff
Star Wars (West End)
