As the community was warned about in advance several months ago, the old Marketplace forums should now be closed to further posting, and all further marketplace activity should take place within the group. A sticky has been posted in each of the old forums to direct posters to the group. If you find someone asking about what happened to the marketplace, please let them know about the move and send them our way. The information from the various old forum stickies has been retained and will be reformatted, consolidated, and reposted at some as-yet-indeterminate point in the future--when exactly that is will depend on how much spare time can be devoted to the conversion. READ THIS IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO POST IN THE GROUP FORUMS. For those who may not have noticed or who haven't yet joined the Marketplace officially, the permission settings for the group have been altered slightly, so that [b]while all group members may freely post in the forums, anyone who is not a member of the group cannot[/b]. When the Marketplace group was first created, we kept posting open to all comers, group members or not, so that as many people as possible could come in and participate as easily as possible. Now that the initial rush is over and everyone seems to have settled in, we're closing off the ability for non-group-members to post.
