Floating over the western wilds of Cormyr, high above where the Dragonmere meets the inhospitable Stormhorns, an island mote known as Majestrix hovers, cloaked in illusion. Few people know of it's existence, and fewer still have ever visited this place...

Recently a prestigious magic academy, the fabled Majestrix Arcane School for The Gifted, has appeared on the island. This school, hosted by the mysterious High Astronomer, promises to teach students the ways of magic. New students of the arcane (Swordmages, Artificers, Wizards, Warlocks, Bards, and Sorcerers) ages 13-17 have been invited from across Faerun to participate in a curriculum dedicated to exploring and mastering the mysteries of magic itself.
