What's there to talk about? It's 12 painted minis for $40 retail. A check via Google shows that the minis list compiled at boardgamegeek has one large mini (Copper Dragon) for Hearts of Cormyr and three large minis (Drider, Giant Spider and Umber Hulk). According to those lists, some of them are repaints from previous D&D minis random packs. Whether you think that justifies the price for the minis alone is decision everyone needs to make on their own, I'm not sure what article they could put...

Whether you think that justifies the price for the minis alone is decision everyone needs to make on their own, I'm not sure what article they could put up to discuss that beyond giving us some preview shots of what they minis look like.
Because it still devalues Encounters/Lair Assault. People will just wait 1/2/3+ months for it. I could see them wait 12 months and release them all as a compiled book, not less time though.
1) Value: People that go to events would still play before everyone else; 2) Value: WotC could make new seasons based on what happened before. So people that played a season, would help to create the new season with their decisions. 3) One month, six month, once a year, doesn´t matter. Just let people that can´t play the season, be able to enjoy it later.
