So if you're not following Bart Carroll on twitter you're missing out on some AMAZING spoilers for the next few seasons of D&D Encounters. He's been live tweeting from GenCon and I've gathered his tweets here for your scoop on what the future holds for D&D Encounters:

10:11am - Looking ahead for encounters seasons... Season 3: Nentir Vale/Keep on the Borderlands.

10:12am - Season 3 starts september 22nd, and makes use of heroes of the fallen lands.

10:20am - Season 3: longer season, written by chris sims.

Not bad for season 2 eh?


Oh wait... did I forget to mention that he had some info on Season 4 AND Season 5?

10:24am - Encounters season 4, starts feb 9, lasts 13 weeks.

10:25am - Encounters season 5 starts May 11, running to august 3.

So there you have it! Some breaking news on what D&D

Last night on Twitter I asked one simple question:

Wizards_DnD: When playing #dnd at home, do use music in the background to enhance your game? If so what are your GO TO soundtracks?


I got some AMAZING responses for all kinds of music suggestions with the most suggested soundtracks being the Dungeons & Dragons Soundtrack (by Midnight Syndicate), The Lord of The Rings, 300, and Harry Potter.

Since I was running the Encounters Season 2: Dark Sun campaign I ended up choosing the Dune & Borderlands Soundtracks. They fit VERY well. The Borderlands soundtrack has some great metal, gritty, hard hitting sounds that are perfect for combat music. Dune has tracks that feel very epic, yet lonely.
