Aren't there only supposed to be 4 for each team; which would make a total of 8 copies of that card right? Did the community team cheat?

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are. If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible. CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button. Detrivore wasn't in the Goblin deck. IDK about the other cards b/c Gaving did most of the building for STD but I'm pretty sure that the spreadsheet we gave to Nate may have been a version which wasn't finalized.
We were making last minute changes up until right before the event; taking cards out of a deck and switching them around.
Guess what? Chicken butt.

Interesting and unfortunate. That would be the result of Gavin taking it upon himself to make all the decks by himself and staying up till 5am to do so (after staying up the previous night till 4am working on commander with several others).
I was wondering how we managed both bant and UW control...cause earlier in the week Brad said it was impossible.
The detritovore was supposed to be removed from goblins right before the event, I guess Ed missed that, he had stuff he wanted to put in too, so that should have been super easy.... I don't think he ever even drew it though, lol.

My theory on the debate over the inclusion of 12 copies of Celestial Colonnade is more conspiracy-inspired than the previous theories (though, in all probability, more unstubstantiated!). In actuality, Gavin was trying to give the WOTC staff a leg up on the Community Cup Team. That's right, Gavin Verhey was a ringer! Aaron Forsythe put him up to the task of colluding with him to build the Community's decks so that the WOTC constructed decks would happen to be 'pre-boarded,' with the inclusion of such cards as Goblin Ruinblaster and Spreading Seas maindeck. That being said, as testament to the addage of 'do unto others, yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah,' the Community Team still prevailed!
Any and all thoughts regarding this can be discussed ad nauseum in this thread. That being said, I cannot see this as a means of furthering discussion in regards to the Community Team's triumph over WOTC's team! Unitil next year, WOTC, make mine MD5 draft! And, thanks for all the fish!

P.S. This was absolutely meant as a tongue-in-cheek post in regards to this thread discussion!
P.P.S. I amend the following comment from above: 'thanks for all the fish!' Seeing as how my avatar in the forums happens to be a fish, I regretfully denounce the dolphins of the world preying upon unsuspecting fish species who happen to be doing nothing other than 'school.' I say, let dolphins eat wombats! (Just kidding, Mark Gottleib! Sort of!).
P.P.S. That's it.
