Hi all,   We have some system issues occuring right now, network engineers are troubleshooting.   Right now it looks like we may need to bounce the system, but we are still working.   No ETA yet, I will post back here with more news when I have it.

Update:  We are back up.  The Urza's Legacy prerelease that was scheduled for 11 AM PDT has been rescheduled for 1 PM PDT.  The Tempest Block Daily Event originally scheduled for 12 PM PDT has also been rescheduled for 1 PM PDT. Magic Online is currently down.  We are looking into the cause and hope to have a resolution soon.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

I had originally started writing this blog post on Friday just before going to bed, but it turns out that going with only three or four hours of sleep a night for most of a week won't leave you with much energy at bedtime. (Who knew?) And spending about twenty-four of the next forty-eight hours judging at the StarCityGames Seattle Open over the weekend (as I did) won't help to improve matters. With Pro Tour San Juan wrapping up at the end of May and all the Community Cup hullabaloo, we have been running short on time here at the office. Yesterday was eventful almost beyond words, and I only use the 'almost' because I'm about to do my best to describe it in words. First, there was the tour of the Wizards of the Coast offices, which was awesome in multiple ways. I could mention the statue of Dakkon Blackblade standing sentinel over the waiting area, or the Jester's Cap guy still dressed up as Freddy Kreuger after last Halloween. What a day! Our tour of Seattle started with a scavenger hunt throughout Pike Place Market and an excellent lunch at The Pike Brewing Company. The day continued with a tour of the Sci-Fi Museum and the Experience Music Project, and a walk around the Space Needle--though not up it, as it's insanely priced for a glorified elevator ride. We decided to ride the carousel instead. We also angered a musical fountain before stopping by Dick's, which is apparently an iconic Seattle fast food chain, for ice cream and hamburgers.
