Ravnica Block Drafts Return!
It is almost time to Return to Ravnica, but before you do, here is a chance to experience one of the most beloved Magic blocks of all time. PAX Prime -- This Weekend!
If you happen to be in Seattle and are lucky enough to have PAX Prime badges, stop by the Magic: The Gathering booth, your hub for Wizards of the Coast action at the show.
We will have a Magic Online 64-Player Magic 2013 Draft Tournament on Friday at 5:00 PM. This event is only open to players at PAX Prime, so make sure you get to the LAN Center when it opens at 10:00 AM on Friday to claim one of the 64 spots!
2012 Magic Players Championship
The 2011 Magic Online Champion, Reid Duke, will be representing Magic Online at the 2012 Magic Players Championship. Since this event is just for the lucky 16 playing, you'll need to follow along online, so make sure you check out the coverage on the Daily MTG page and see how Reid is doing!

The Tier 3 and 4 promo card is Jaya Ballard, Task Mage, originally given out as part of a mass market promotion.
The Tier 5 and 6 promo card is Shriekmaw, originally given out as part of the Lorwyn release events.
The Tier 7 and 8 promo card is an alternate art Wonder, originally given out during Friday Night Magic in May 2007.
The Tier 9, 10, and 11 promo card is a full art Strangleroot Geist, originally give out as part of the Dark Ascension Game Day.
Downtime Notes for August 29, 2012
The system will go into "No Pay" at 5:00 AM.
Store and trades will shut off at approximately 7:45 AM.
The system will be down from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
This downtime is expected to last approximately 4 hours.
This downtime contains a build with updates and several bug fixes.
General
- Updated: Added From the Vault: Realms. It goes on sale Friday.
- Updated: Core Set Constructed legality updated with Magic 2013.
Card Rules
- Fixed: Angel of Jubilation no longer incorrectly prevents use of some activated abilities.
- Fixed: Descendant's Path will no longer hang the game if your library is empty.
