Avacyn Restored Prerelease Events Start Thursday
Get ready for your first chance to play with Avacyn Restored in Magic Online. Prerelease events start this Thursday, May 17, at 10:00AM and Avacyn Restored will be available for purchase in the Magic Online Store on May 21 at 9:00AM. Check out the full details here.
Magic Online Daily Event Schedule Changes
We will be making some changes to the Daily Event schedule after the downtime on May 23. Changes will include removing Daily Event support for some formats and adjusting the schedule for others.
We will no longer be providing Daily Events for Extended, 100-Card Singleton, Standard Singleton, and Kaleidoscope. For other specialty formats, we will try and balance their schedules to provide events for players that enjoy those formats. The new Daily Event schedule will posted on the Magic Online Calendar page next week.
MOCS Season 5 Ends Next Week!
Season 5 of the Magic Online Championship ends Wednesday, May 23. Make sure you earn at least 15 Season 5 Qualifier Points so you can join the Season 5 Championship. Full details can be found on the MOCS information page.
MOCS Season 6 Format and Promo Card
Season 6 of the Magic Online Championship Series starts after next week's downtime. The Seaons 6 Championship format is Standard Constructed and the promo card is an alternate art version of Stifle, originally distributed as a Judge promotional card. Find out more information on the 2012 MOCS here.

Downtime Notes for 5/16/2012
The system will be down from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
The system will go into "No Pay" at 5:00 AM.
Store and trades will shut off at approximately 7:45 AM.
This downtime is expected to last approximately 4 hours.
This downtime includes the Avacyn Restored card set build.
