I have been all about the white/red deck I put together and constantly working on this one badass in your face game winning combo. The problem......I rarely ever got the combo off. Majority of the time, if I won it was because I ran the opponent down with an army of majorly countered up weenies, fiend hunter kept nuisances out of the way and more than once I was forced to use my Glory angel before I wanted to in order to pull the army out of the graveyard. I could not wait until the devil was set up properly etc. so I could use his ability to throw a lot of direct dmg from each returning creature. 99.9% of the time the weenies took steroids aka so many counters I got dirty looks and they took the win. That is nice and all....but not what I wanted the deck to do.

I want a combo deck, not a weenie counter deck

So....last night a red/black deck was constructed that is a combo deck and it uses the devil from the previous deck. It is a pretty sick deck actually. It is not standard legal, it has a few cards that are no longer printed which adds a nice oldschool quality in my opinion.

I put my angel deck back together. It still frustrates me a bit because it needs more offense. I know white is not meant to be aggressive. It definitely has resilience, I can survive for awhile on that deck, but I need more beefy angels to pull out. I have some good angels, I just need more copies of them.

The other deck I currently have is a green oldschool elf deck. Ehh...I don't care about that one too much.

I took apart the red/white deck completely. I know it was a pretty good weenie deck, it won more than it lost, but I only built that deck to try and do the combo with Glory and Flayer. I don't want to run weenies. Maybe I'll put it back together one day, won't be hard, I know what was in it.

So at this point I have 3 constructed decks. 1 is block legal, the other 2 are vintage. I have a list of cards I am ordering although I hate how expensive one of those cards is...entreat the angels...I only have one copy of that card (booster pack), it is a $25 card.

Back to organizing cards. I got a new  portfolio yesterday to hold my rares. Gotta put those in.
