Calimshan

Calimshan is a desert ruled by battling genasi who keep human slaves. The overlords wage constant ware against each other across the dune seas and in the high air. Ruins and mysteries abound, and untold treasure await any brave enough to eventure into the war-torn badlands of the Calim Desert (also called the Skyfire Wastes).

Almraiven

This human city of roughly 38,000 has been able to defend themselves agains the genasi by the power of their spellcasters. The city is ruled by the WeavePasha of Almraiven. His policy is to expand trade with and gain allies among other seafaring nations, while keeping Almraiven from the attentions of its genasi enemies. This port city is home to a renowned, very large shipbuilding facility capable of building several large sea going vessels at the same time. Almraiven has a three thousand year old reputation as a center for magical study.

Calimport

This port city of 60,000 (once much larger but diminished by war) is controlled by genasic loyal to the djinn Calim. The city contains large palaces, extensive slave markets, and two great arenas where human slaves are pitted against each other and against threats from the Elemental Chaos.

Memnon

This city of 35,000 is controlled by genasi loyal to the efreet Memnon and like Calimport, has enslaved its human population. The city's outer walls are made of a dark, smooth rock that absorbs hear and shrugs off wear. This city is a garrison city, fishing port, and trade stop.
