Hello all. I'm returning to playing LFR after a long 8 months.
I had started work pimping out the regional forums before I took a break and I'd like to do some more work on it this summer.
Are there any requests or suggestions about what you would like to see there?
NOTE: I do not have moderator/admin privileges and I do not work for WotC so my resources are limited as such.

I'd like to thank you for your efforts. Personally, I found your updates helpful. Unfortunately, all of my suggestions would go beyong your limited resources. Other than Waterdeep, the other story areas with "dedicated forums" are concluded (or near concluded). The "active" story areas are: Calimshan Elturgard Netheril Returned Abeir Waterdeep In addition, there are several adapted ADCP adventure story arcs available for play, some CORE adventures, and the EPIC campaign arc. Maybe others have suggestions on how to improve the forums to include the new story structure.

I think it could be valuable to brainstorm what the regional forums could hold. Ideally, there would be an overview thread that anyone could read before any play and be better for it. For example, the basics of culture/government in Elturgard.
Another might be for once you have played a few and then are coming back in. This would have sections and spoilers or be multiple threads. Locations, NPCs, etc. in adventures could be gathered. Perhaps a thread per adventure could provide an overview reminder of the story, plus the outstanding threads/issues/NPCs that might be found in later adventures. So, I play REGIONx-1 and then a few months later I am going to play again. I come to the thread, get my overview, and go back to play.

I think a lot of your suggestions are currently housed in the wiki. Do you think the forums would be a better place for these details, or are you suggesting that we just have a thread to discuss the details?

Functionally, wikis work better to capture descriptive content which stays of interest for long periods of time. I contend I mostly did that with the Waterdeep wiki's, although there are some gaps. Forums which allow good Q&A, chatter, and temporary focus have a role but I suggest it is a different role. Chattering about and asking questions about specific adventures work well on forums.
While I do not understand why, the use of the wiki's on this group, or the regional groups before, have not apparently been of strong demand. My puzzlement is that in the outside world, wiki's are wildly popular. Perhaps something different about gamer culture or is it just that the LFR comunity does not really care that much about lore or context?
To be sure, when I get breaks from editing adventures, I tend to look at what lore can I populate on the wiki's, mostly Waterdeep. We could occupy a full time loremaster to extract from LFR adventures as well as other FR sources (for relevant regions) and populate the wiki's.

I think that it's just that the Wiki is a lousy way to chat. And then it's not integrated with the place that I go to chat.
